Advanced Warning Flasher -
Model AW-2
This product is CSA NRTL/C and ANSI/UL #508 certified
This flasher is used in traffic
areas where the posted speed limit exceeds 30MPH (50 km/hr).
The main controller switches
2 pole alternate flashing lights on approach to the intersection.
This alerts traffic that the signal is about to change from green
to red.
This unit incorporates two TF-9-60
two pole flashers. One 2 pole (alternate flashing) for one direction
of highway and one 2 pole for the other direction.
Due to conditions such as curves
and hills the advance warning lights may be placed different distances
from the intersection and may require different start times than
the opposite direction. This is the reason for logic 1 and logic
2, which is controlled by the main controller.
An input of 120VAC @ 10mA is
supplied from the main controller. Should power fail to, or in
the main controller, both advanced warning flashers start flashing.
120VAC power for this unit is supplied independent of the main
controller.
